I left home and the sky was cloudy. But sunny weather was forcasted in the evening and when I got to the beach the sky was blue and the sun on its way down towards the horizon.
After having successfully taken the 3D kite through its second test flight, it was about time to improve some stuff.
Inspired by other quad lined kites like the Fulcrum by Carl Robertshaw, the Airbow by Benson Kites and the Reflex series by Revolution Kites, I’ve turned an old QLK of mine into a 3D kite.

What was planned a testflight of the Rokkaku Stormy and the Subvision, a new/old quad line kite from Kites Spitfire, ended up as a Hardcore workout because of variable winds.
I’m still preparing for the “How to Build a Rokkaku” project and yesterday I built a prototype. I’ve called it Stormy because now we’re talking heavy duty!
