If you happen to have a (lightweight) headlamp, you’re well on your way to illuminating your kite! And in addition to the headlamp, you will need the following:

• A (srap) piece of CF or GF rod
• A piece of flying line
• An Eddy-cross
• A handful of zip-ties
• A rolll of electrical tape

But rather than having me write down the whole story, I’ve made a short video on how to go about it all. I’m not going deep into the details, but deep enough for you to get the grips on how to make this illumination rig yourself!
