I have added a couple of new modifications to the 3D kite project of mine. In this post I’ll take you through them all.
I left home and the sky was cloudy. But sunny weather was forcasted in the evening and when I got to the beach the sky was blue and the sun on its way down towards the horizon.
After having successfully taken the 3D kite through its second test flight, it was about time to improve some stuff.
Inspired by other quad lined kites like the Fulcrum by Carl Robertshaw, the Airbow by Benson Kites and the Reflex series by Revolution Kites, I’ve turned an old QLK of mine into a 3D kite.
Cutting carbon- and glassfiber rods is a must for all kite builders and by making a miter box makes cutting so much easier. Here’s how to make one yourself!
