It didn’t take long until I got a chance to fly the new A Quad. Today I managed to squeeze in twenty minutes of airtime after sunset.

I didn’t think I’d been given the opportunity to fly today, but as things worked out during the day, I had a few minutes left just after sunset. I’d finished my work in the stable and headed for a beach just a couple of hundred meters away.

The winds had been howling all day long, but in the evening things started to calm down. Perhaps a tad too much for being perfect but definitely flyable, and even better as time went by and the darkness of the night fell on.

The A Quad is definitely an interesting kite. Still loads to discover but it feels good, really good!

Finally, here’s a little video I shot in the darkness tonight. A bit on the dark side and nothing spectacular, but capturing those twenty minutes flying on the beach!
