The story of the AERIALIS Team Flyers began all the way back in 2003. What started as a small group of passionate kite flyers has grown into a team that has shared countless adventures, unforgettable experiences, and many hours in the sky together.
In recent years, our annual gathering point has been the Nordic Kite Meeting, an informal kite festival held along the beautiful west coast of Northern Jutland, Denmark. It is here that the AERIALIS Team Flyers come together to practice, refine, and perfect the routines that will later be performed in front of thousands of spectators at the Blokhus Windfestival.
As tradition dictates, the days leading up to the Pentecost weekend were spent on the beach. Hour after hour, flight after flight, we drilled our routine until every movement became second nature. By the time the festival weekend arrived, we were as prepared as we could possibly be. The entire routine had become deeply embedded in muscle memory.
And then the weather delivered.
Throughout the weekend, a steady onshore wind blew in from the North Sea. Smooth, clean, and almost completely free of turbulence, it provided near-perfect flying conditions. The kind of wind every kite pilot dreams about.
With the stage set, it was time to perform.
Over the course of the weekend, the AERIALIS Team Flyers presented five formal demonstrations each day, for a total of ten performances. Every flight was an opportunity to showcase the precision, timing, trust, and teamwork that team flying requires.

Judging by the reactions from the crowds lining the beach, the performances were a success. Smiles, applause, and plenty of curious questions afterward reminded us why we keep coming back year after year.
Team flying is never about a single pilot. It is about coordination, commitment, and the shared pursuit of creating something beautiful in the sky together. After all these years, that feeling remains just as rewarding as ever.

See you in the sky!
