In the morning I checked the weather forecast and found that the wind should come in from the west by northwest, and based on this information I chose this flying location. If the wind was as forecasted this would be a perfect play to fly some kites and shoot some video.
So when I finished work, I checked the real wind and yes, the weather forecast was spot on; west by northwest it was! So after a quick pit-stop at home for picking up some more … kiting stuff, I steered the kite mobile in the direction of the flying location. Soon I arrived at the spot and walked the few hundred meters from the parking over to that little rock pointing out into the sea. As soon as I got out there I found the wind pe close to perfect. 6-7 m/sec (13-16 mph), nice and steady.
This time I wanted to record the complete process, not only from up there, so I rigged a tripod attached my phone to it and started to record.
So what more is to say other than letting the video below tell the rest of the story?!
