And the onshore wind was pretty stable coming in from the west. So I pulled one of my rokkakus out of the bag for lifting the KAP-gear. I spent some time adjusting the bow lines and angle of attack and after some tweaking the kite seemed happy with the settings.

Up it went and by the time I was ready to hook up the rig, the wind had died down a little. I had to take the kite down and do some more tweaks adapting to the lighter winds but thankfully the wind was still enough to lift it all.

So soon I had the camera in the air capturing the scenery from up above and this is what it looked like!
