The weather forecast predicted a hurricane, well, maybe not quite, but pretty heavy winds. So what better to do than make a super vented quad kite?!

So I found sort of what was required and equipped with a few ideas in my head I started the process.

Now only the bridling remains but my plan is to have it all ready today!

…and by the way, thank you Anders for your tips along the line! Appreciated! 🙂

  1. Two things:

    1. Is this venting with a kite or the other way around (would be fun to try it some day)?
    2. Would be interesting with the “Zaephay (3.4m) line set” in hard wind.

Btw, is there any risk that the long non-supported ribbons could vibrate (too much) in the hard wind?

    1. 1 Well… Just an idea that came to mind ?

      2 I doubt it! ?

Yes, definitely! That was my concern too. …and after a quick initial flight in 16-18 m/sec ? today confirmed my suspicion. However, I have a plan for a remedy! ?
