Nope, the kite aerial videography didn’t go so well. Somewhat variable winds coming along the coastline and I didn’t dare to put my kite over the marina. Crashing it all on the deck of a million-dollar yacht seemed like a bad idea at the time. ?
However, I had more kites in the car. So I packed up my KAV gear – got a handful of photos though – and walked over to my car and replaced it with a couple of vented quads. I then returned to the KAV-spot to fly some more. Just like yesterday, the full vent on 10m (30ft) lines seemed like a good choice.
You know…. sometimes things just click, all the pieces come together, one plus one equals three, AoxomoxoA! The wind was still kind of unstable tumbling along the rocky coastline, but it seemed like the venting took care of those gusts and smoothened them all out to a more manageable wind. And I was ready to do the rest!
It felt soooo gooood, the kite felt crisp and responsive in the air and the kite was dancing! Ahhhhh! ??
