I hopped into the car, and after a quick hair cut (yes, it’s true) I was on my way to the beach.

Got there and the weather was absolutely gorgeous. Really, really warm, well above +30Cº and a (very) light breeze coming in from the sea. In the distance, the clouds were building up and it started to look like a thunderstorm could be arriving. Better get that kite up into the air pretty soon!

I did. First I went for the standard A-Quad, but the wind was a bit too light for it, so I changed to the Zaephay instead. That kite will fly in just a whisper of wind and it was perfect given the current conditions.

So with the Zaephay attached to the 10m (30ft) lines, the camera ready to shoot from that tripod I was good to go….
