No, that’s not a typical October day up here in Norway, but yesterday… YESTERDAY! It was just like that. And the best part was that I had an hour or so on my hands to fly some kites on the beach! Not bad, not bad at all!
So after having decided where to fly, I took that eight minutes road trip to the location, parked the car, hauled my kite bag over my shoulder and walked the final hundred meters or so down to this little sandy beach of mine, Rosnestangen.
It was a really good choice. The winds were really stable coming in from the water and made for close to perfect flying conditions. The sun was on my back so no visual problems either, pure flying fun!
At 6, maybe 7 meters per second I once again pulled the triple-vented green kite out of my kite bag and after another couple of minutes or so I was ready to fly!
…and what more to say…? Another great hour in the office! 😉
