A long-awaited weekend and it was time for the Gothenburg April 23-24, 2022 to meet, fly and generally have a good time together! 🤩

Kjetil arrived at Villa AERIALIS early Saturday morning. We hopped into the kite mobile and soon we were on the road heading for Gothenburg and Anders. After a quick pit stop at Anders’ flat, we soon were at the flying field in Fiskebäck, some twenty minutes from downtown Gothenburg

Sunny and with a strong and bumpy wind rolling off of the small hills over in the east made for some really, well, let’s call them interesting flying conditions!

Loads of turbulence and wind speeds varying from close to zero up to 13-14 m/sec making it really difficult to fly, but, you know. You cannot change the wind, you’ll need to adjust your sails. And so we did and we soon found that the Nirvana High Wind was the right choice despite the sudden drops in the wind.

So we started to fly and had a wonderful time flying on the large field at Fiskebäck. Crazy bumpy winds, yes, but hey, no worries, JUST FLY!
