Earlier this week the forecast looked fantastic for kite flying. You know, mild weather, a steady onshore breeze, sunny and …. well … as perfect for kite flying as it gets in January up here in my neck of the woods.
I had everything set up and then the weather forecast changed dramatically. A winter storm is approaching this weekend. A winter storm with gusts up close to 26m/sec or 60mph if you like. And that’s not quite the best conditions for flying kites!
So I decided to squeeze in a couple of hours flying in between a whole lot of other scheduled … stuff. So I happened to leave work early with two, maybe three hours of daylight ahead of me.
A light wind came in from the sea and made for good conditions for the A-Quad Hardcore and equipped with a static video camera on a tripod and a drone I shot a lot of decent footage and I was able to pull off this little video.
I hope you’ll like it!
