But before I could do any flying, there was work to be done. I had to take out the horses, feed them and do all sorts of stable duties before I could even think of grabbing my kite and walk those 150 meters or so down to the riding arena.
As I opened the door and entered the arena, it felt even colder inside than outside and the frozen air bit me in my face. But i really wanted to fly, so I got the kite – the Zaephay – all set up and connected it to my 3m (10ft) flying lines and I was ready!
