I got home from work at about five and one and a half hours later I walked into the beautiful sandy beach at Paradise Bay, a location that lives up to its name. A long and golden sandy beach with emerald waters, crowded with people on a warm summer day. But yesterday I had the beach pretty much for myself.

In 2011 I attended a kite workshop and at the end of that weekend I ended up with a double vented yellow quad kite. And that kite was the kite I pulled out of my kite bag … along with a small single lined kite on a ten meter line.

The yellow double vented was an excellent choice given the conditions. Vented enough to let some of the wind go through the mesh but still building up a good pressure in the sail. Definitely a good choice!

I kicked off my shoes and walked barefoot on the soft and warm sand and started to fly my quad. Do I need to say more?
