Rain was forecasted later that day, so I got up reasonably early, grabbed my gear and jumped into my kitemobile going for one of the many local beaches some 8 to 10 minutes away from my house. The morning was gray, dark and dismal but at least this nice breeze was coming in from the north by north-east. Good conditions for flying albeit quite chilly. No worries though, just put on proper clothing and I’d be fine!
The wind direction was perfect for my chosen location, the tiny beach at Rosnestangen. The light breeze, clocking in at about 4 meters per second was stable and made for some quality flying. I had a feeling the A-Quad Semivented was the best kite for the current conditions, and pretty soon it was all assembled and up there flying!
