I think I’ve mentioned it earlier; I like to fly my quads to funk music. Yesterday I had forgotten my earphones at home, but guess what. I had my Bluetooth loudspeaker in my car! So I fired it up and put it beside the tripod to add some … live soundtrack … to the recordings.
I have a handful of quad line flying playlist on Spotify. They’re packed with funk music. Everything from high pace party music to more laidback and much lower pace relaxed stuff. My next step is to split them up into unique playlists based on tempo and mood … but now, that’s another story!
So I was flying to this funk-based music. The conditions were close to perfect. A benefit from living and flying by the water. The wind came in undisturbed from the sea at about 5, maybe 6m/sec. (11-14mph). Now, that’s really good winds for the A-Quad Hardcore (by Anders Matson) and on 30m (~100ft) lines this kite is AWESOME!
It will do all the things that I know how to pull off and probably a lot more. It’s so stable in the air you hardly believe it. You can fly is backwards or forwards without any problems, fast or slow, pick your choice! Hover it and it will stick to the sky like it was glued in place! Wow, the more I fly this kite the more I love it! AWESOME!
In the video below you can see seven minutes of flying on the beach yesterday to the tunes of that funky “Seven Seven Seven, Ninety-Three, Eleven”. And like said… This kite will rule’m all!
