Just like yesterday!
…which started just like an ordinary late-August day. Partly cloudy in the early morning and kind of chilly actually. However, as the sun climbed the layer of clouds got thinner and pretty soon there was a clear blue sky up there.
The wind picked up a bit too and when I left work for the stable, flying conditions were as good as they get. But I had some work to do in the stable so I kept my fingers crossed that the conditions wouldn’t change during the afternoon.
They didn’t and around six o’clock in the afternoon I was on my way to Paradise Bay to fly kites!
When I walked out on the beach the sand was still warm from being heated by the sun for almost a day and a stable breeze came in from the sea. Perfect!
So I just threw my shoes away and just flew! 🤩
