…and it’s called IFTTT!
IFTTT is the free way to do more with hundreds of the apps and devices we use, like WordPress, Twitter, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Spotify, Google Assistant and a whole lot of others.
IFTTT bring services together into Applets. Applets are specific things that can happen when you connect services — things your apps can’t do on their own.
IFTTT is a software platform that connects apps, devices and services from different developers in order to trigger one or more automations involving those apps, devices and services.
Currently I’m investigating this and so far I’m using two different applets for automation of social media sharing. One applet is publishing new posts here at the blog to the AERIALIS Kites Facebook page. Another applet is updating the Facebook page everytime I publish a new video on the AERIALIS Kites’ YouTube channel.
So far these applets work as they’re supposed to and that saves me some time. I might add other applets later to further automate my social media sharing. ????
