I grabbed the chance with both hands and pulled the A-Quad Hardcore out of its bag for some serious freestyle flying on long lines. The wind was gusty and variable but I hoped the vents in the Hardcore would be sufficient for smoothing things out and still being flyable in the light winds down towards the ground.
It was!
Despite pretty variable wind speeds, the Hardcore delivered! I had to read the wind as it came off from a nice mix of buildings and tall trees upwind and especially when flying close to the ground things got kind of difficult as the wind came rolling along.
But you know, when you have logged some hundreds of hours with your kites your flying skills improve and you become capable to fly in difficult conditions. …still having a lot of fun!
