When I got back home yesterday I started to tinker a little with the gimbal of my drone. It was clearly stuck, but after some tweaking I got it to work again! I put the drone up in the air for a couple of minutes and, yes, the gimbal was back in action! So today I gave it yet another go.
Yesterday the light wind came in from the north. Today things had changed. Coming in from the south and a bit stronger than yesterday. Definitely flyable!
So I grabbed the Mini Rev, a really fast and furious little quad kite and a blast to fly. I had to adapt my flying style quite a bit in order not to overdo things. Much more subtle input was required, and when I got a bit more used to it, it was really fun!
And talk about axels! With a whip of a breakline, the kite spun really fast and really flat on its belly. On a couple of tries, I was able to pull off double axels with one pull only! Amazing! (Nope, didn’t get those on video!)
Do you know that kites also can fly in water?
…no?
Well, they surely can, and that I managed to capture! Check it out!
