That was my only concern when driving to one of the local beaches in the area. Most of the fluffy snow that we had a couple of weeks ago had melted away during the thaw, but not all and many places are covered with solid ice. What would the ground be like down there on the beach?
I was still concerned as I walked down the icy path leading to the beach. The fields were covered with snow and ice, but when I got closer to the beach, I found that most of the snow had melted and I could see green’ish grass on the ground! Yes!
When I got to the beach I found just a narrow strip of it. The rest was covered by the high tide but I could fly on the field just next to the beach. I just had to climb a fence and I had the large field all by myself.
Soon I had the A-Quad Hardcore out there at the other end of my 30m line set and was in for a great couple of hours!
