Thankfully the direction of the wind didn’t change. It was still coming in from the south, so all I had to do was to haul another kite outta the bag.

My yellow one should be a good match to the current wind conditions. And it was.

However, after a while, I got this feeling that this kite would be better off with a somewhat softer leading edge. It feels kind of … skittish … from time to time. I didn’t bring any replacement rods to remedy my suspicion, but I’ll see if I can make a transition for its next flight.

Anyway…. Nothing that ruined the day though!
