Today I was up early, went to the stable and did the morning duties. You know, putting the horses out, mocking their boxes, feeding them and checked their water supplies and so on. After one and a half hours I was done and headed back home. …or… No, not quite
On my way back home I drive past this park in the outskirts of town and I thought… Hmmmm, maybe I can fly there?
So I pulled off of the highway and parked the car, grabbed a rokkaku and my kite stuff rucksack and started looking for a place to fly.
Not the easiest things to do. Many kite eating trees around and the open spaces were scarce. But finally I found a spot that could be useful. So I assembled the kite and laid out some 30 meters of flying line. Yes, I managed to work the kite up there, but the increasing wind was made turbulent by the trees so the rokkaku started to dance up there.
The wind continued to heat up and soon I had to take the kite down.
BUT….
I found a place to fly and here’s the video to prove it!
