No, I’m not the one undergoing surgery, my wife is. It’s a planned knee operation that will sideline her for some time and this will of course have an impact on my time schedule. Meaning a little less time for flying kites.

But that’s the way it goes and hopefully, it will be possible for me to air some Icarex every now and then during her convalescence.

I have shot most of the required footage for my upcoming tutorial on windless flying so most of what remains can be done at home. In this tutorial, I’m taking a closer look at some (really) basic elements of flying in a completely windless environment and I think if you follow along with this tutorial you will be out flying in windless conditions pretty soon!
