…and they were! First of all, the rain had ceased. Then the thick layer of low-hanging grey clouds cracked open and more and more of the blue sky became visible. The wind … not bad at all coming from a north-easterly direction and all ready to play!
So was I, and with a car filled with kites and camera gear I soon was on my way to one of my local playgrounds, Kureskjæret, some 20 minutes by car away from home. 👌
Along the way, I could take in all the beautiful colours of autumn, red, yellow, orange, yea you know, the full specter! Sooo beautiful!
I could also see that the wind was coming in from the north east – just like forecasted – and my qualified guesstimate for the windspeed at the water was about 5 to maybe 6 meters per second. (I was pretty close.)
