So equipped with the To-Go-Quad-Kite-Bag and a fully charged DJI Mavic Mini I was ready to kill a couple of hours on the beach flying in the crisp evening air. The sun on its way down towards the horizon made for some interesting light conditions both for flying and for filming. Let’s get that kite outta the bag and up into the air!
For the first half hour or so the wind was very light but still it was possible to keep the Zaephay in the air. I bit of work was definitely required. Get it up there and glide downwind to allow some backing up. Kind of demanding but big fun.
As the sun sunk closer to the horizon the wind picked up a snap or two and suddenly things got much easier! No worries keeping the kite in the air now, and why not get the drone up too and shoot some video?
