While the mercury hitting +20°C in the shade, I jumped into my kite-mobile and headed for the beach. Once again the wind was supposed to come from the north-northeast and I knew exactly where to fly!
When i got to the spot – Kureskjæret – a fifteen minutes or so drive from my home, the wind was spot on, straight in from the water, perfect.
However, while I was rigging some gear, it all died down. Ahrg…. What kind of tricks was the wind up to now then?
It was like that for half an hour or so. On and off and changing direction all the time. But then… The wind seemed to decide in whet to do and once again a perfect onshore and very stable breeze clocking in at about 3, maybe 3,5 m/sec (6-8mph).
Hey! Now we’re talking!
I got my big, orange Rokkaku way up there and fixed the KAP-rig to the line and up it all went. The Rok’ glued itself to the sky keeping the KAP-rig super-stable.
So stable that I managed to shoot this! ?

Clearly Sven is being efficient here. How else can there be time to do both QLKing and SLK KAVing (+ occasional DLKing)! 🙂
Yeah, two for the price of…. No… for the time of one! ??
