The Black Edge project is once again a quad lined kite building project kind of down the same lines as the Pink Project, however, with a little twist.
I’m going to add some more belly to the kite, hopefully adding to the kite’s stability. The distance from the mesh to the “upper upside v” will be 7cm longer. I guess the image below will clear up things. ?
I also have a couple of other ideas up my sleeve, but I haven’t decided on anything yet other than hemming all trailing edges with black ripstop, hence the Black Edge Project! ⬛
So far both wing halves are cut and hemmed and for one of the halves I’ve sewn the leading edge mesh.
So still some way to go, but stay tuned and I’ll keep you updated!

Now both wing halves are having their mesh along the leading edge finished. It’s soon time to sew the wing halves together and get this thing to look like a kite!
