Do you remember in the old days? Way back in 2006-or-something? When the winters were cold and we had snow?

That’s when I got my hands on the Double Zerof by French manufacturer l’Atelier. It was a kite meant for serious indoor or (very) low wind conditions, and if memory serves me right, Mathieu Mayet …or was it Gregory Reynes… had his fair share of ideas put into this kite.

On this day, back in 2006, when the winters meant cold weather and snow and ice on the ground, I went to fly the Double Zero in frozen conditions. Actually it was too icy to take a stab at flying so it all ended up as a photo session.

However, not the very worst idea after all!

Here’s a video of Gregory Reynes flying this beauty some years ago! He knows his stuff!
