After having a couple of forgettables lately, I went through the checklist in my car before starting it up and heading for the beach!
So I was certain to have brought all the necessary stuff, including coffee! Which is absolutely a must on a day like today.
It was supposed to clear up – and at first it looked like it was gonna happen – but when I neared the parking, it started to snow again. Hmmm….. Well, I was prepared and dressed for the Norwegian January so no worries. I threw the rucksack on and waded the snowdrifts in the direction of the beach.
Wow, it was windy! Not too cold, but the wind from the north certainly added to the chill factor. So I found myself some shelter by some trees where I ‘put up’ my headquarters. I had a couple of sips of the coffe mug, grabbed the kite bag, a line winder and the video camera and walked down onto the beach.
Was it too windy for the drone? Well…. Better fly the kite first and feel what it’s like up there.
Kind of bumpy due to the wind coming partly off the shore, but way up there the wind got more stable and the small, red rok’ calmed down.
After i while I decided to give the drone a go too, and here’s the final result. I hope you like it!
