After caring for the horses yesterday afternoon, I had a couple of hours on my hands to fly kites. I haven’t been to Paradise Bay (Paradisbukta), Larkollen, for quite some time and the current wind direction would make that location close to perfect. So Paradise Bay it was!
As I approached the beach, the sun had started its descent towards the horizon, but I still had hours of daylight left to fly. The wind came in from the sea; the first kite out of the bag was the A-Quad Hardcore. But it didn’t take long until I had to go for another kite, the A-Quad Semivented as the wind was dropping.
…and it kept on dropping and soon the A-Quad standard, with no ventilation, was the kite to fly. The wind stayed in that low range for the rest of the evening and the standard version of the A-Quad series did exactly what I wanted it to do out there at the other end of my flying lines.
What a great way to start the weekend!
