For some reason page elements were placed at incorrect positions on several pages, overlapping each other. It seemed like some kind of trouble in the margins or paddings department or the Z-indexing.

I have a feeling that a plugin update had something to do with the hickup, but thanks to making a complete backup of the site every night I could restore the site exactly like it looked yesterday. So I did, but the flaws were still there.

OK, I moved back one more day and restored the backup from July 19th. Now everything is back to normal again. I recreated the blogpost I wrote yesterday and it all seems to be working just fine.
