So I put a couple of large bottles of drinking water into my backpack and set of to the beach. I knew that on a day like today I wouldn’t exactly have the beach to myself, but I had an idea about a place that should be flyable nevertheless.

As I pulled in on the parking I immediately knew the beach would be packed and I was right. But I continued my little walk up the beach and beyond, and soon I found myself all alone on a little sand bank. Perfect!

It was now really hot and I grabbed for the Zaephay. A pretty perfect kite for these (really) low wind conditions. A lightweight kite that can fly in down to zero wind.
