As the name indicates this is a virtual event meaning you can participate wherever you’re located as long as you have an internet connection. Using Google Meeting as platform we could all “meet” and share information, stories, memories and what have you.

It was also a great opportunity to put faces to all of the names you see on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and other social media.

But the very best thing …I think ? … was to watch all those great videos and pilot presentations submitted by (windless) kite enthusiasts from all corners of the world. Proving that despite the f***ed up world out there, there are ways to stay somewhat mentally aligned.

It was a great pleasure to watch all the videos showing all those different aspects of windless kite flying!

It was a great pleasure to have the honour to participate in the world’s first ever (?) Virtual Windless Kite Festival!

It was a huge impression to me to continue my work with the AERIALIS Kites website hoping to add my little drop of inspiration to any kite flyer out there.

Finally I would like to thank everyone behind this great experience for your willingness and dedication, for your work and effort, for your time and your passion.

Yesterday, despite of the local lockdown, was special! Once again, THANK YOU ALL! ❤️
