Today I hit the field with a plan in my head. To practice snappy 90 degrees corners … and maybe tossing in an axel or two!

Like I mention in another article here at the AERIALIS Kites Website, I usually go to the field with a Plan A on my mind. Today my Plan A was pretty straight forward; practising snappy 90 degrees corners.

The winds were favourable and pretty stable when coming in from the fjord. I’d say they clocked in at between 3 and 5 m/sec or 7-11 mph if you’re into those units. A low hanging January sun caused some minor problems with vision. However, as time passed by, the sun got into the right side of the wind window making for better sight.

Anyway… After having warmed up for about ten minutes or so and gotten a feel for the wind all over the wind window I was ready to practice distinct cornering, and here’s a quick round up of it all!
