For some reason, I woke up early. I didn’t set any alarms, but I was wide awake by 6:30 in the morning. I got up, made myself a cup of coffee and walked out onto the terrace to enjoy a little of that early morning silence. And there was wind! I checked a little closer and found that the wind was supposed to hit 4-5m/sec from an easterly direction.
Well, what was I waiting for? Jump into the car and hit the field! And after a fifteen minutes – give or take – drive, I rolled into the parking at one of my flying spots. The wind was perfect and it didn’t take long until the first Rokkaku was up in the air riding on the smooth breeze coming in from the sea.
The large (almost) fluorescent orange Rokkaku was sitting like glued to the sky and I grabbed another rok’ out of the bag. This time, the asymmetric rokkaku with its 30m tail soon accompanied the orange one.
But I had more rokakkus in the bag and before you could even say “Just Fly” I had another two sitting up there!
Not much more to say actually rather than check out the video below!
