Back in 2021, Anders started to fiddle around adding a super vented version to his A-quad series. After some time, he ended up with a prototype which he brought to the Rømø Kite Festival in September of that year.
Half a year later, and after some more tweaks, he had made three more for the team and we flew them all at the Nordic Kite Meeting 2022. I even think there are a couple of videos over on the AERIALIS Kites YouTube channel!
Anyway…. When the wind is really picking up, it’s a really nice kite to fly under such conditions. With its large open areas, the kite will let a lot of the wind through thus easing the pressure of the sail and smoothing out any turbulence. Still being pretty crisp and with good feedback to the pilot.
And the wind did pick up at this year’s NKM. So what better to do than fly the Storm in the storm?!
