I wanted to try out a new location. Well, kind of. I’ve been there before flying Rokkakus. This time I’d brought my To-Go-Quad-Kite-Bag and I was excited to find out if it was possible to fly quads there too.
So in the early Sunday, September afternoon, I parked my car and walked to this ‘new’ flying spot, a rocky place by the water. The wind was spot on, straight in from the sea at about 3 meters per second, or 6-7mph if you like. Nice wind right in the A-Quad Standard’s optimal wind range. So the first, and only, kite out of the bag was just that one, the A-Quad Standard.
And wow! Spot on! Perfect winds for that kite and I had total control over it in super smooth winds out there at the other end of my 10 m flying lines! What a blast!
I guess I could have been flying there for hours, but after some time I had to pack it all up and get back home. …and then off to the stable.
But no worries, I brought my (mobile phone) camera and the Hover Air X1 and shot a bunch of footage. Why not take a look at two videos from the day down below?
