With only 23 days to go until the 25th Nordic Kite Meting in Blokhus, Denmark, today it was time to fit the roof box to the kite mobile. Too bad waiting until the departure day and find out somethings not working!

So today I pulled my roof box out of its hibernation and carried it over to the side of my car. I think I knew where I’d hidden its keys, and yes, I did! Inside the box I found the remedies needed to fix the box to the roof rack and soon I had he box resting on the rack.

I was a bit concerned about if the roof box would interfere with opening the car’s tailgate, but I soon found there was nothing to worry about! I could safely open the tailgate without touching the roof box! 👍

So after checking this all that was left to do was to tighten all nuts to secure the roof box and now the kite mobile is ready to load!
