Anyway….
Today’s absolutely dead calm conditions were perfect for some relaxed glider flying. And the Urban Ninja, in not so urban surroundings, was up to the task. It hasn’t been out of the bag flying for years, so I was a bit worried that my glider skills were a bit rusty.
They might have been, but it felt like I managed to shake off most of it pretty quickly. In absolute zero winds…
…I soon got the hang of it and the grey and yellow Urban Ninja flew graciously. I especially love those slow and flat belly spins. Starting them high up and just watch the kite spin on its belly while slowly descending. Way cool!
I surely brought my phone and my tripod so I did get some pretty decent footage. My contribution video for the Glider Project is uploaded to Fortunafound’s Dropbox just waiting for Sat. 23rd!
