My initial plan was to practice my part of the team routine for the NKM, but unfortunately I didn’t have the time nor the space. So I ended up with the A-Quad Semivented out there on my 10 meters line set. Not a bad choice though!
The light breeze came in from the water and slowly but surely dropping. So I got a good opportunity to fly it in its lower wind range. As I started I’d say the wind speed was about 3m/sec (7mph) and dropping to 1,5’ish (3.5mph) before I called it a day.
And even in this (really) low winds the A-Quad Semivented is a blast! It’s sooo smooooth and you’re balancing between flying and guiding the kite. It floats on its belly on the wind like it was water and the Axel’s can be carried out oh so slowly. They rally are gracious flat spins.
