Just like scheduled, the low tide clocked in a few minutes past six o’clock this evening. I had timed my duties perfectly which gave me an opportunity to go flying for a short hour or so. Just perfect timing.
When I got there the wind was on the lower end of the scale so I opted for the standard A-Quad. But things were to change. The wind picked up quite a bit in just a few minutes making my choice of kite a wrong one. No worries though, just get another kite more suitable for the wind conditions.
Ouuta the bag, my yellow vented, perfect for the stronger winds.
The low tide revealed a sand bank for me to fly from and shallow water to fly over … and into. The dark clouds and the golden rays of sunshine made for interesting filming conditions to and here’s the (edited) result!
