I woke up early in the morning, let the dogs out and started to gather the required gear for another KAP expedition. The conditions were perfect. Not a cloud up above and the sun was beating down from a deep blue sky. The wind was forecasted to come in from a northeasterly direction … and … it did!
So I decided to take my second trip this year to Saltholmen, a stunning place to fly kites almost no matter the wind direction. So after 25 minutes, give or take, by car I parked at the Saltholmen Marina grabbed all my gear and started to walk onto the peninsula of Saltholmen.
The weather forecast was spot on, the wind did come in from the northeast and soon I found myself a nice and sunny wind shelter I could use as my headquarters for the day. I’d brought a handful of lifter kites and opted for the smaller of my Power Sleds, which I thought would be perfect for the current conditions. So soon I had it flying stable up there and the fun was about to begin!
So let’s cut the crap and watch the video!
