The AERIALIS Team Flyers consist of a loosely assembled group of pilots who gather to fly kites every now and then. At maximum, the group counts … yes … are we up to eight, I wonder? Yes, I think so. But for many reasons, it’s been a while since all eight of us flew together.
This year, it looks like we’ll be four; Anders, Farid, Marco, and myself … and with a bit of luck, Kjetil will join us for a few days too. Fingers crossed.
Anyway, there will be four of us hired to fly at the Blokhus Wind Festival this year, and Anders hasn’t been idle this winter either. No, he’s sat down at the writing desk and stitched together a completely new routine. A routine that consists of a good mix of familiar elements and also quite a few new and exciting ones!
Clearly a step or two up from last year’s!
So, now it’s just a matter of sitting down and memorizing the new routine. But to streamline this learning process and to use the shortest possible time to break in the new team routine when we meet, we have a procedure for exactly this. You can see it in the video below. Perhaps something to bring to your team as well?
Please note!
Towards the end of this video, I say that the Nordic Kite Meeting is running from May 13th to May 15th. That’s not correct. The Meeting runs for almost a week, from May 13th to May 19th!
