As you probably know very well by now, I just love to shoot kiting videos. I bring my GoPros along on all my flying sessions and today was no exception.

I went to the beach downtown pretty early in the morning while the rest of my family was still sleeping … or at least in bed. ? The wind hit the beach straight in from the sea, nice, stable … and cold! Even though we’re mid May, the temperature was a mere +8C. So warm and windproof clothing was the choice of the day.

Despite the chilly conditions, the wind was smooth. Not anything to obstruct it coming in from the water hitting the beach at a 90 degrees angle. Not bad, not bad!

And the good old triple vented was clearly up to the task. The large vents letting enough wind through to take a lot of pressure out of the sail while maintaining enough to have the kite do all its stuff. Could one ask for more?

So, let’s stop talking and start flying!
