I’ve always liked these pictures—not just because they look nice, but because they feel true. They capture that special moment when I’m completely immersed in what I’m doing. Fully focused. Fully present. And honestly, it just feels good.
These photos have followed me around since then. I’ve used them here on the website, shared them on Facebook, and posted them across other social media platforms. They’re a small but meaningful window into what kite flying means to me.
The other day, I stumbled upon someone using Midjourney—an AI tool known for creating art and illustrations—to generate videos from still images. That caught my attention. Midjourney now supports animated image sequences, and the results were impressive.
Naturally, I had to give it a try.
Over the past few days, I’ve been experimenting a bit. And today, I used those two favorite photos to create a short video clip. I didn’t expect much, honestly—but the result?
It’s almost disturbingly good.
But don’t take my word for it. Check it out below and let me know what you think.
