Previously I – and perhaps many like me – thought of quad lined kite flying was all about doing figures in the air, hovering, flying backwards, dead stopping and so. However, nowadays freestyle elements are adding to the quad lined kite flying.
Axels, Flic Flacs, Pancakes (or Flares) are more common stuff nowadays and I try to adapt these new tricks into my flying. I’m especially fond of axels. They can be done fast and snappy or slow and grateful. And the flatter they spin, the cooler they look!
But how about half axels … and cascades? Can you do that kind of stuff with a quad kite? Well, let’s try.
There are two locations for us to fly at the NKM25, Blokhus Beach and Saltum Beach.
