Yes, I did accomplish my Plan A, practising my part of the team routine for the 25th Nordic Kite Meeting later in May. …and I did! I flew the routine several times and it seems like I have it all up in my head. Now it’s only putting it together with the rest of the team and hope it’s gonna look good!
But like said, I also did some flying on shorter lines in the somewhat bumpy winds, rolling down a low hill a couple of hundred meters away from the field. Not too bad, and definitely flyable! I opted for the A-Quad Semivented and that kite did well in the current conditions. It doesn’t take too much wind to fly and it copes well with the wind fluctuations.
Flying on a 10 meters lineset was nice as always and I did a whole bunch of axels, trying to get them as flat as possible. And as the wind was dropping you can surely do those axles pretty slow and floaty too!
