The conditions for shooting footage for the tutorial looked absolutely perfect in the morning. However, since I didn’t manage to pull myself out of bed until … late 😉 I had to wait to go flying until … much later.
The wind was nice and steady almost until I walked down to the beach. Then it died down to next to nothing. I immediately knew that this was not the time to shoot my planned footage. In order to get the best footage for these tutorials, I like to have good winds. That makes it all so much easier and I’ll end up with a much better tutorial.
But as you know, you cannot change the wind, but you can adjust your sails. And so I did. Rather than flying the standard or semi-vented A-Quad, I went for the Zaephay and Plan B. Not a bad choice, all things considered!
